
Design & Data Resource Center (DDRC)
The Design and Data Resource Center (DDRC) at Tufts Medical Center provides essential research resources to clinical researchers. The DDRC's accomplished staff of epidemiologists, statisticians, programmers, project directors and protocol editors is available to assist in the development, operations, and analyses of your clinical research protocols.The DDRC team offers support for the development and review of research protocols and grants at no charge to Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University investigators, and includes extensive data management and analytic resources, usually compensated on an hourly basis or as part of a funded grant. Funds are often available to provide these services to pilot studies.

The Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC)
The new Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) is a core institutional resource dedicated to promoting innovation and excellence across the entire spectrum of patient-oriented research. We are solidly committed to the translation of basic scientific discoveries into state-of-the-art medical care, and strongly support collaborations between basic, clinical, and health services scientists, across disciplines and between Tufts MC researchers and scientists at other institutions.The Clinical Research Center offers extensive support for inpatient and outpatient adult, pediatric, and neonatal subjects. There are ten inpatient beds, eight outpatient exam rooms, and two phlebotomy chairs within the facility, which also houses a full research laboratory for specimen processing and storage, ELISA-based and RIA-based assays, trace element testing by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry, HPLC separation assays, and DNA analyses.
